Isabel Claravall Gonzalez
Isabel began her ballet lessons with her mother, Nila Claravall-Gonzalez at the age of three and a half. Since then, she has dedicated her time in dancing ballet.
Isabel is trained under the Royal Academy of Dance, London and has passed her grade examination. She was awarded the grade of Distinction in the Vocational
Grade Examination Advance 1 & 2 Levels.
Isabel was a Regional Winner and a National Finalist in the NAMCYA (National Music Competitions for Young Artists) Junior Ballet Competition in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
Isabel’s first major role was as Odile in Swan Lake in 2009. Since then she has performed the Pas de Deux from the Nutcracker, La Bayadere Act 3 and Paquita.
Isabel took classes under Brezhnev Larlar, Nonoy Frolian, Dwight Rodrigazo, Raul Sauz, Victor Ursabia, Christine Walsh of Australian Conservatiore of Ballet and Anatoli Panashiukov of the Philippine Ballet Theatre.
Isabel is currently an apprentice at the Philippine Ballet Theater, a resident company of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
