Directions to Arlington Creative Start at Calvary Methodist Church at Mass. Ave.

The center is located at 300 Massachusetts Avenue, in East Arlington. 

Coming from the South: Get on Route128/Interstate 95 North.and get off at Route 2 East. Once on Route 2, you take the exit for Route 60, Pleasant Street.  At the top of the ramp, take a left, which will put you on Route 60 Pleasant Street heading toward Arlington.Proceed on Pleasant Street for approximately 1/2 mile until you come to a set of lights at a major intersection.  (Cambridge Savings Bank will be on your right at the lights and a big church with a clock will be on your left at these lights).  It is at these lights that Pleasant Street/Route 60 intersects Mass Ave. So take a right at the lights onto Mass Ave. You will proceed on Mass Ave and be looking for a Walgreens Pharmacy on your right.  Immediately after Walgreens is a stop light and the Calvary Church is on your right at the stop lights (It is a big white church with a horseshoe drive).  You can either park on Mass Ave or at the lights turn onto Linwood Street and park there.

Directions to Newton Creative Start

Communities United Administrative Office and Newton Creative Start are located at 573B Washington Street in Newton, MA 02458. 

From the North: Take route 128/Interstate 95 South and exit at I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike).  Take I-90/Mass Turnpike Eastbound, towards Boston.  Exit the turnpike at Exit 17 (Newton ).  It is an upramp.  Stop at top of ramp.  Merge into traffic, working over toward left lane.  You follow the left lane back over the turnpike (the Sheraton Hotel will be on your left at all times). As you cross over the turnpike, you want to be in middle lane, following green signs for Newton/Washington Street.  Follow Washington Street through a few sets of lights (You will pass a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins, and a big Chevrolet dealership). You will come to a set of lights where a big red brick church, Our Lady’s, is on the right corner.  At this light, take a right onto Adams Street. Our building is actually behind the church, Turn into the second opening in the fence and drive straight ahead.  You will see a 2-story red brick building (with blue awnings), which is where we are. You will see blue signage on the building for “Communities United/Newton Creative Start”.

From Watertown Area:

Take Galen Street out of Watertown Square, heading towards Newton Corner. After crossing over Charles River as you exit Watertown Square, stay in right lane. At light on other side of bridge, take a right onto Watertown Street.  As road forks, stay to left on Watertown Street.  Follow Watertown Street to set of lights where Dunkin Donuts is on your right. At these lights, take a left onto Adams Street.

Follow Adams Street almost to top. As you see back of big brick church, turn into the second opening in the fence and drive straight ahead in parking lot.  You will see a 2-story red brick building (with blue awnings), which is where we are. You will see blue signage on the building for “Communities United/Newton Creative Start”.  Enter by side entrance.

 Directions to Waltham Creative Start
From 128 North or South:

Take Exit 26 and follow signs that say Waltham (Route 20).

Stay on Route 20 until you come to Moody Street (the Sovereign Bank will be on the right).

Take a right onto Moody Street.

Go about 1/2 mile and take a left onto High Street.

Take your first left onto Hall Street and the center will be on your right.

From Watertown:

Follow Main Street (Route 20) to Moody Street.

Take a left onto Moody Street.

Go about 1/2 mile and take a left onto High Street.

Take your first left onto Hall Street and the center will be on your right.

From Newton:

Follow Lexington Street (turns into Moody Street at Newton/Waltham line).

After the fire station on Moody Street, take a right onto High Street.

Take a left onto Hall Street and the center will be on your right.

Directions to Watertown Creative Start:

From Watertown Square –

Travel a few blocks west on Main Street (toward Waltham)

Left onto Green Street after St. Patrick’s Church

Left onto Chestnut Street

Watertown Creative Start is straight ahead; park in the lot to the right.

From the West –

Take the Mass Pike east towards Boston.

Take the Newton exit (Exit 17). Follow signs for Watertown which will place you on Galen St. Take a left onto Route 20 (Main St.)

Go through (2) sets of lights, you will pass by the Watertown Fire Station on the right and Watertown Police Station. You will see a Store 24 on your left, then you will see St. Patrick’s church on your left.

Take the first left after the church (Green Street) and then take your next left (Chestnut Street). The parking lot to the Watertown Creative Start is to your right.

                               Directions from the North and South -

Take Route 128 to the Route 20 Waltham/Weston (Main Street Exit) going towards Watertown Square. Follow Route 20 (Main Street in Waltham) all the way through – going towards Watertown (about 4 to 5 miles)

Once you have passed the Ground Round on your left, continue for about a 1.5-2 miles. Make a right on Green St. and then the next left onto Chestnut Street. The parking lot to the Watertown Creative Start Center will be to your right.

Directions to Woburn Creative Start:

Driving directions to Woburn Creative Start, 470 Wildwood Avenue

From South: Route 128 North to Exit 36, Washington St., at the end of the ramp take a right onto Washington Street. You will immediately come to a set of lights.  Take a right at these lights onto Olympia Avenue.  Follow Olympia Avenue for about ½ to ¾ mile.  Look for Wildwood Avenue on your left.  Take a left onto Wildwood Avenue.

The entrance to Woburn Creative Start is about 500 yards down on your right, in the same complex as “Jump on In”.  Turn right into parking lot, the Woburn Creative Start program is at the end of the building.

From North: Route 128 South to Exit 36, Washington St., (you will see Joe’s American Grille) come off the exit and at the lights take a right. At your next set of lights, take a right onto Washington Street.  You will pass over Route 128.  You will come to a set of lights at the car dealership.  Continue straight through these lights.  At the next set of lights, take a right at these lights onto Olympia Avenue.  Follow Olympia Avenue for about ½ to ¾ mile.  Look for Wildwood Avenue on your left.  Take a left onto Wildwood Avenue.
